That was when Ronnie White of The Miracles saw this 11-year-old boy playing. White would quickly usher Wonder towards the attention of Berry Gordy Jr., who headed Motown Records. It didn’t take long for Wonder to land a record deal, and his musical career turned profitable.

Amazingly, Wonder had joined the music industry long before many of his contemporaries would. He wasn’t even a teenager when his first album was recorded and released.
