Cargo Pants

Cargo pants are not just a fashion invention, and even though people like Tom Cruise made them popular before the turn of the new century, they’ve been around for far longer than the Top Gun film series has. The British army gets credit for first designing these nifty pants, mostly because they needed more places to store everything they had to carry with them during active service. By the time more war films hit the market, people were desperate to incorporate the style into their own fashion choices.

Aviator Shades

Aviator shades date all the way back to the 1930’s, when a small company developed these nifty sunglasses specifically for fighter pilots. Their main goal was to create something that would shield the pilots from the glare of the sun, so they could do their jobs efficiently at any time during the day. In the late 1980’s, these shades started to catch on in the mainstream, mostly thanks to film and television. Ray Ban’s are now synonymous with aviator sunglasses, and the world is better off as a result.
