Emergency Systems
Many of the current emergency systems we use on a daily basis around various cities were developed thanks to the war efforts of the 1900’s. Emergency systems were shocked into getting organized, in order to try and save as many lives as possible during war efforts. In some cases, nurses and doctors were dealing with this kind of situation for the first time in their careers. Innovations in emergency systems, and the fact that it’s as simple as dialing ‘911’ these days, is largely thanks to military intervention in the past.
