Rock formations like the ones located in Western Australia can only be mirrored in a single other location worldwide: South Africa. Within these amazingly unique designs lays the tectonic foundations which started forming the landforms we live on and see today, otherwise known as tectonic plates. The rocks here go back billions of years!

Let us spend a bit of time discussing these tectonic plates. Basically, the shifting of the tectonic plates which flow throughout Earth’s cover form novel landforms. This process is fueled by volcanic lava coursing, or through the surging of vertical rock as the plates slam into one another. Somehow, what one sees in Pilbara goes further back in time than even the establishment of our planetary surface. Incredible!
