Certainly, despite humanity having laid claim to this place since our earliest days many millennia ago, this is a prehistoric site. We’ve discovered that there are ancient rock formations here, but different fossils have also been unearthed. These are the remains of earth’s primordial life forms, such as the bacteria which thrived on sulfur and microbe-formed stromatolites. There is more wonder to be discovered, however!
