The two set off for a sentimental tour of the woods together, appreciating each other as they played and ran around. They were reconnecting on an incredible level, as if they had never parted ways before. It soon came to leaving time for John, which was when he decided that he would not leave Kyle sad and alone again. He would do his best to arrange playdates with his old pooch as often as possible.

Kyle had experienced a kind of joy and contentment that he had not felt for a long time with John’s arrival. This was such an enormous weight off Kyle’s shoulders, who had slipped into a lonesome depression since his owner had given him up for adoption. It seemed like Kyle would only be truly happy with the presence of his old partner, and no one could make him feel the way that John did. The two were like soul mates!
