Tomb Of Qin Shi Huang, China

Unquestionably, the tomb of Qin Shi Huang is one of the most important archaeological discoveries made to this day. It was found in 1974 during the excavation of the Terracotta Army (which you may see), but out of respect for Chinese history and culture, it has not been excavated yet. In 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang established the Qin Dynasty and became the first Emperor of imperial China.

Big Diomede Island, Russia

Big Diomede and Little Diomede are the names of the islands that lie between the United States of America and Russia in the Bering Strait. On the American side of the island, Little Diomede is home to little more than one hundred people, while the larger Big Diomede is unfit for human habitation and serves as a meteorological station for Russia.
