The Embarrassing First Arrest

Many people assume that Clyde’s first arrest was related to a serious crime. As it turns out, he was first arrested for failing to return a rented car, which he had first acquired to visit an old flame. The charges were eventually dropped, but Clyde was now well on the radar of local authorities.
The introduction of a permanent record meant that finding any kind of traditional employment would be next to impossible. A short while later, alongside his trusted big brother, he conspired to (and executed) the theft of a truck full of turkeys.

Bonnie and Clyde: On The Run

Many years later, Bonnie and Clyde moved to Missouri to live with Buck and his wife. They were on the run and wanted for various offenses at this stage, including robbery, kidnapping and even murder. This would be the start of the end for them, as police were now happy to catch them dead, rather than alive.
