The Pokémon trading card game took the world by storm when it was first released in the late 1990s, and there are some phenomenally expensive members of the colorful little monster cards out there, such as the First-Edition Charizard that will sell for many thousands of dollars if it is mint condition. The Pokémon trading card game has been around for decades by now, however, and is extremely well established and prominent. This means that the newer editions are not in crazy demand.

Old Newspapers
Long before we used Facebook to keep up to date with global events, newspapers were the primary source of information for humanity. Today, historical newspapers provide unique insights into history that many other sources fail to provide. But will they earn collectors as much money as they do knowledge? Newspapers are still globally churned out rapidly and daily and are a readily available resource, and the same goes for historical ones, albeit to a lesser degree. Only the most obscure editions that have not been reprinted will sell for high amounts.
