Many of the most lucrative items in the collecting game will have their worth borne of a production error, as is the case with many pennies. Sadly, Wheat pennies were mostly perfectly minted, and are not exactly lucrative. They are rare, however, but that low availability still doesn’t do much for their worth. In time, Wheat pennies might pick up in value and demand, so you might want to hold onto them, just in case.
