While you are visiting a place and see someone adorning a bonnet, you must not reach any conclusion of declaring them Amish, they might not be one. The person that you have seen might be a Mennonite. Though there are a few similarities between them, they are quite different. Both the communities take offense in case someone mixes the two. Mennonites are basically a sect that follows non-orthodox Christian values. This community practices all the modern-world things and doesn’t keep itself isolated from other communities. Their clothing is also just the same as that of any other person from any community.
