A former contestant on the hit series Iron Chef, Graham Elliot faced troubles from over 10 waiters at his eponymous restaurant for pooling the tips as part of company policy. Gregory Curtis, a former employee, filed a lawsuit about this, as he felt that some of his hard-earned tips were unfairly distributed among the team.
As it turns out, this is only a legal practice when it involves employees who usually receive tips. The restaurant also had food runners and cooks, and they should not have benefited from the pool of tips. The case was settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.

The host of multiple Food Network shows Anne Burrell is a familiar face to many Americans. First gaining notoriety on Iron Chef under Mario Batali, his temper seemed to influence her, as the public would first come to understand by a legal battle that took place in 2009.
As per the filed documents, she was accused of speaking ill about her employees and making derogatory comments about their appearances, as well as about matters related to their personal lives. As it turns out, she had a knack for zoning in on the female employees only. While the matter has never been publicly addressed by the famous chef, it is assumed that a settlement was reached.
