Both for the sake of future generations and, more crucially, for the sake of bringing closure to the families of the fallen troops, Taylor is interested in discovering what happened to these submerged submarines and why they went down. The team at Lost 52 is aiming to compile comprehensive surveys of the wreckage that has been recovered, collect artifacts, and make educational materials available to the general public in addition to locating and preserving the vessel.
