Brenda Strong would happily continue with a stellar acting career, with her next biggest role after Starship Troopers being in the long-running television series, Desperate Housewives. Strong was so convincing in her part as Mary Alice Young that she was nominated for two Emmys. Other television shows featuring Strong include Supergirl and Fear the Walking Dead. Some of her less iconic works include a yoga therapy film series where she helps women and couples to conceive.

While Amy Smart might not have enjoyed the biggest role in the action sci-fi masterpiece, her performance was certainly memorable. Smart played Stack Lumbrezer, a pilot cadet and a friend to Denise Richards’ character, Carmen Ibanez, with who she also shares a spaceship bridge. Smart played the dedicated and industrious Pilot Cadet Stack Lumbrezer convincingly and showed some serious girl power during her astral fight for survival. Smart’s character did so well in her duties that she was made lieutenant and was made a pilot of her own ship.
