Countless people have been asking about what the museum intends to do with Stuckie. In contrast, others admitted he should be released and given a proper funeral other than being a centerpiece for attraction.
Also, others have questioned why they have him on display and if it’s okay for that to happen. They noted he should be resting in peace.

It has been decades since the canine had been stuck in the tree, and as such, his body seems to have been embedded in the tree. Since the tree arrived at the museum, Stuckie has captured the attention of many and has become one of the major attractions of the center. So, the idea of releasing or burying him never came up.
For now, the museum does not have any intention of yielding to those requests as they believe the feature has historical artifacts that could bring awareness to children.
