Chloe Grace Moretz as Carrie in Carrie

When “Carrie” was remade, many people thought it was unnecessary, but then again, it is Hollywood, and they do what everyone thinks is not normal. It is believed that we would accept whatever they come with, and even though Carrie was a great film, the lead actress, Chloe Moretz, was not the perfect fit. Moretz is beautiful and has well-cared-for skin and all, but with the original film, Carrie was almost like an outcast with many pimples, stringy hair and was constantly bullied. Chloe looks like the one who does the bullying instead of getting the backlash of others, and her acting in a film like this could be poor. It didn’t sit well with us that she had that role.

John Cusack as Richard Nixon in The Butler

John has a lovable and quirky side, which is loved by many and is one of the main reasons he copped many roles in films that focus on romance like High Fidelity and Say Anything. However, when they cast him as the most unpopular president in history, it was not very well accepted and was a big error on the casting director of The Butler. The character allowed Cusack to wear a prosthetic nose, which was a major distraction, and he has featured nothing like the thirty-seventh president. Lee Daniels directed the Butler, and this was not the only film they cast Cusack wrong in. He was also miscast in The Paperboy as a murderous maniac, and people didn’t find it too pleasing.
