Synthetic Rubber Advancements
There wasn’t a lot that people could do with synthetic rubber before WWI. The U.S. military saw its potential, and around this time, they started a top secret project to try and create an even cheaper version of traditional rubber on the market at that time. Decades later, countless factories export synthetic rubber to places all over the world, which drives economic growth in the U.S. Just imagine the situation we would be in if it ended up gaining traction elsewhere first.
The Modern Jeep
People from all walks of life love the Jeep for its style, classic nature and the fact that it can be used on all kinds of terrains. Initially called a “weapon” by President Eisenhower before WWII, the handy car has since made its way into the commercial market, with more adventure seekers being able to get their hands on one without having to pay for exorbitant add-ons like they do in the army. Would the Modern Jeep even exist if it wasn’t for the fact that the world went to war in the 1940’s?
