Washington In The United States
Washington is home to the Seattle Underground, which has a similar background story to the Old Sacramento Underground we covered earlier. This underground was created when in 1889, a fire scorched through the city, leaving disaster in its wake. In the aftermath, officials decided that houses should be built with brick and stone and that the entire city should be elevated around 22 feet. In the years ahead, the old Seattle became something long forgotten to inhabitants, now only prominently remembered by historians and tourists alike.
