Wing and Johnson believe that said pumped up oxygen-18 levels showed no continents were around when this isotope was sealed more than three billion years past. This then pushed the duo to believe that our planet, free of landmass, was coated in a fathomless ocean, which then means that Pilbara was, consequently, formerly an archaic ocean bed.

Leaky Findings
The discovered proof was relevant. A variety of the samples of primordial organisms discovered at Pilbara are aquatic, with plenty of the landscape showing marks from coursing fluid. Now there are scoured and rolling hills which are sliced by riverbeds. This is a highly unusual area, as Johnson remarked in an article written by The Independent in March 2020.
