Van Morrison commenced his career in music as a youngster, in time going on to become a legend in the industry and world at large. Morrison would begin his serious musical career as a part of several showbands within his home country of Ireland, but the group Them would catapult him into proper fame with the successes of the R&B band from Northern Island. Gloria would be their biggest fit, with Morrison’s vocals winning over audiences amazingly. Toward the end of the 1960s, he released Brown-Eyed Girl.
