Dylan became crucial to the efforts and successes of the 60s’ counterculture movement with songs like Blowin’ in the Wind and The Times They Are A-Changin’. He was a protest artist that roused many people into action. He was also technologically revolutionary, using electronic amplifiers with his guitars, something that was frowned upon all those years ago. With more than 100 million record sales, Dylan is also the owner of the Nobel Prize.
