Obsession for Beauty – Poisonous
The obsession that comes with being beautiful is not just from the current day but from centuries ago. The chemical used nowadays have been sighted as having long-term effects that will affect those who use them. As such, people have resorted to searching for organic ways of achieving the same purpose as regular makeup. However, women in the 16th and 17th centuries didn’t care about it being processed first.

Obsession For Beauty Poisonous
They used a plant known as Belladonna, which had some small berries they would squeeze for juice. But, the scary part of it is that the juice had poisonous elements and, most times caused hallucinations. When consumed, it would widen the pupils of women, which they claimed gave them a more striking and beautiful appearance. Just imagine though, a beautiful woman telling you about something they see that no one else does – seems reasonable to say she is kinky or insane.
