Melanie Lynskey as Rose | Then
The character of Rose was one of the more controversial female characters in Two and a Half Men. Her inexplicable obsession with Charlie playing hand in hand with allusions to severe mental health problems, her time on screen may have left some viewers feeling less than comfortable. Intended as a comic relief subplot, her character arc seemed to develop as she later moved on from her blatant obsessive behavior and showed signs of personal growth. This arc was sadly undermined and her character was used in the obviously contrived dismissal of Charlie Sheen from the show. Charlie and Rose ran off together as a plot device for his embarrassing death.
