Sadly, the experiences they receive during those periods will live with them for years to come and sometimes leave deep scars impacting their behavior in the long-run. They often forget what it’s like to be cared for by a human, and in the case of Varya, she knew exactly what it meant to have been neglected.

Russia is not really the hottest place globally, and the weather can get freezing at unbearable levels, especially during the autumn and winter months. Even the summer can be chilly with a strong wind at times. But generally, people know how to dress up warm and they can get on with their daily lives. However, one winter, a lonely pup couldn’t seem to make it through it as easily. It was a rough one, and the conditions were really harsh.
