Women who were not married, such as Elizabeth, would need to prove themselves if they wanted any kind of power, let alone becoming the Queen of England. Thankfully, Elizabeth was regarded to be quite the beauty during her youth, and she supposedly wielded her girlish abilities to gain influence in court. Would her strategy work?

Despite having flirted with plenty of these ambitious Casanovas, Elizabeth would never tie the knot with any of the doting hopefuls. She did, however, cram her court filled with good-looking fellows, a penchant that led many to spread rumors doubting her virginal nature.
