Rocky Johnson
Many professional wrestling fans consider Rocky Johnson to be the initial athlete to have coined the phrase and the first man to make wrestling what it is known as today. The Canadian gentleman first took to the ring in 1964. He was well-established within the National Wrestling Alliance, within which he won various titles. Along with his partner, he conquered the 1983 World Tag Team Championship. Johnson would later succumb to a pulmonary embolism.
