Neil Peart

Rush fans severely mourned the loss of Neil Peart, who was the frontline drummer and lyricist for the spectacular band. In 1983, Pear was inducted into the Modern Drummer Poll Hall of Fame, becoming the youngest person in the category. He was undoubtedly a fantastic drummer, but beyond the instrument, he was also a superbly well-rounded musician and songwriter. He also wrote some books. Peart would succumb to the effects of glioblastoma, which is a horrific form of cancer that attacks the spinal cord or brain. Peart was 67 years old.
