The Police’s band members would suffer quite the explosive time together. Various members’ marriages would deteriorate, and they would often come to blows in public. Then there was Sting’s blossoming solo career, all of which would lead to a hiatus following their Synchronicity tour. Sting wasn’t the only one that went on to have a solo career, however, as the next two decades saw every former band member taking off independently. Stewart Copeland created soundtracks for films and television series and Andy Summers would produce many incredible collaborations with fellow artists.
