2. Pancakes Or Waffles

Pancakes and waffles are popular breakfast foods, especially on weekends or holidays. They may feel comforting and filling, but they are usually made with white flour and often include sugar in the batter. The bigger issue is what usually goes on top: syrup, chocolate spread, whipped cream, or other sweet toppings. This can turn breakfast into something closer to dessert.

That does not mean pancakes or waffles are forbidden. They can be enjoyed sometimes, especially when made with better ingredients and balanced toppings. Whole grain flour, fresh fruit, yogurt, or a small amount of nut butter can make them more satisfying.
