Stamps
You don’t need to be an auctioneer to know that stamps are worth very little in the modern age. Certainly, during the 1900s and 1800s, before the advent of digital communication, stamps were the bread and butter of written exchanges and were a secure investment. This all changed when people made the mass migration from mail to email. Stamps are now incredibly cheap and are made en masse in factories. We feel sorry for those elders out there that amassed their stamp collection over many decades.
Pogs
We will be incredibly impressed if you know (or can remember) what Pogs are! They were vibrant discs made from different materials that were stashed by kids across America. This was also a game that was played before PlayStations were a common sight in households. If you are among the few people that managed to hang onto their obscure Pogs, believing that you would cash in one day in the future, we are sorry to say that you will only get around $10 for the lot!
