The idea of being a trucker is a romantic novelty for many people that avidly collect model trucks. As for the 1960s’ most notable additions to the industry, Hess trucks were widely purchased and enjoyed, to the point that so many of them were not preserved in sellable condition. You could, however, earn about $2,500 if you managed to get your hands on one of the original models from 1964, according to Antiques Almanac. The more rickety models will be bought for almost $40.
