Cabbage Patch Kids
When we say that Cabbage Patch Kids were a craze in the late 1970s, we mean that people were actually going crazy for them, going to violent lengths to beat fellow shoppers in a mad rush to snatch them up! The 80s continued to uphold the dolls’ high worth, with a single one going for $30. But that was a long time ago, and kids and collectors alike don’t have much interest in the comparatively ugly dolls. They also did not keep very well, especially across the many years that collectors would have held onto them for.
Vintage College Pennants
If you have experienced irritating disinterest after encountering someone that loves to brag about their former lauded university, like Andy Bernard in The Office, then you can be sure that most people feel the same way about said university’s paraphernalia. Vintage college pennants, for example, are only valued by those that attended a respective university, and collectors will not be taking them off your hands for much money unless they happen to be fellow alumni.
