When we say that Cabbage Patch Kids were a craze in the late 1970s, we mean that people were actually going crazy for them, going to violent lengths to beat fellow shoppers in a mad rush to snatch them up! The 80s continued to uphold the dolls’ high worth, with a single one going for $30. But that was a long time ago, and kids and collectors alike don’t have much interest in the comparatively ugly dolls. They also did not keep very well, especially across the many years that collectors would have held onto them for.
