Tsutomu Yamaguchi
Tsutomu Yamaguchi was present in Hiroshima in 1945, at the time when the city was subjected to the devastation caused by the atomic bomb dropped on the city. As a direct result of the bombings, Yamaguchi was one of the 160,000 people who were injured or killed. Burns covered his body, and he lost his vision for a short while.
In addition to this, part of one of his eardrums had been lost. The next day, Yamaguchi returned to his hometown of Nagasaki, which was the site of an additional bomb explosion during the war two days after he left. He suffered burns once again, but in addition to that, this time, he became ill from the radiation. Following these occurrences, he began advocating against the use of nuclear weapons. We comprehend the reasons for his decision to take that stance.
Erik Norrie
There are those people who consistently find themselves in difficult situations. It is possible to steer clear of the majority of these dilemmas, but not all of them. There have been so many tragic occurrences with Erik Norrie that it is difficult to determine the current condition. Norrie has had a number of situations that were quite close to death.
In addition to being attacked by a shark, he was kicked by monkeys, bitten by a rattlesnake, and struck by lightning. All of these things happened to him simultaneously. Norrie’s most recent mishap was brought about by the shark, which severed a chunk of his leg and came dangerously close to taking his life.
