Their Origin?
They were said to be facing high religious oppression and it was 1963 when the very first Amish family reached America. The reason why this family chose to stay in the Midwest area and specifically in Pennsylvania as it was the state that was known to offer people a free and safe place to practice any religion of their choice. The basic amenities and other services were also quite good in this state and these were the primary reasons why this first family of migrants chose it to be their home.

As almost every other religion prohibits couples to share the bed before getting married, Amish people encourage its couples otherwise. It doesn’t come without any condition as the couple should remain fully clothed and they should keep talking. The Amish community believes that it’s the best way to see them enhancing their bond before getting in a life-long relationship. It is quite modern and open thinking when compared to other religious communities of the world. It has also shown many positive curves where couples are seen to be quite strong in their relationship.
