10. Mario Batali

Undoubtedly one of the most troubled stars of the Food Network, Mario Batali is no stranger to salacious headlines. In 2010, he was at the heart of a tip-skimming scandal, where several employees at his restaurant accused him of taking a 5% cut of their tips. These funds would be repurposed back into the salaries of the sommeliers, in an endless cycle that left none of the servers happy.
Needless to say, a lawsuit followed in due course, and the parties involved received a share of over $5 million. 117 plaintiffs were involved, led by an ex-waitress and kitchen runner at one of his establishments. Both had worked at Babbo, which in this case, should be renamed to Boo-boo.

9. Cat Cora

Cat Cora is a graceful and elegant TV star, but in one of her less esteemed moments back in 2012, she faced a possible DUI conviction. She had crashed her BMW in Santa Barbara and was breathalyzed shortly after. Cat was handed a suspended sentence with three years of probation, as well as a hefty fine. She didn’t evade attending DUI school for almost a year, either.
Looking back, Cat was quick to apologize for her actions and said that she deeply regretted her decision to get behind the wheel. She argued that it happened after her designated driver wasn’t available. Remember, that Uber wasn’t around back then. Cat took an important lesson from the incident, and unlike some other TV stars on the list, was accountable for her actions and promised that it will not happen again.
