4. The Neely’s
The eleven season hit Down Home with the Neelys captivated audiences, as husband and wife Pat and Gina Neely presented a picturesque view of their marriage. This is what made the announcement of their personal and professional separation so shocking, and fans were left feeling deflated after finding out that both stars were putting on a front during the course of filming the show.
Gina was very vocal about being on the edge of filing for divorce before the show even began filming. She confessed that she found the experience of being a TV personality, gawked at by the public, exceedingly stressful and uncomfortable. Later, she would forget all about the feeling as she appeared on a dating show called To Rome For Love, to get over her divorce.
