Stuckie
Seeing they had named him the “Mummified Dog,” it was time they gave him a more befitting name, so everyone went with Stuckie. There were a group of names selected to include “Chipper,” “Dogwood,” and “Stuckie” where votes were cast, and Stuckie got the most.
The tree coffin feature was also a standout as it was related to the “pecan logs,” which were sold at Stuckey’s stores. As such, the museum didn’t want to infringe on trademark rights, so they altered the spelling of the dog. But still, this was not the saddest part of the story.
