The Renovation Looked Rough At First
During the early renovation, visitors still could not understand what Emily was trying to build. The seats were gone, the walls were bare, and wires hung from different parts of the ceiling. To anyone else, it looked like a half-finished construction site on wheels. But Emily could finally see the layout clearly. She knew where the kitchen would go, where the bed would fit, and how the living space could work inside the long narrow frame.
Little by little, the cold metal interior started to feel warmer. Wooden panels covered the walls, storage spaces were built into hidden corners, and the large bus windows brought in more light than anyone expected. The space still needed a lot of work, but it no longer felt hopeless. Friends who once laughed at the idea began asking questions instead. The bus was still unfinished, but the transformation was already becoming impossible to ignore.
