The Ford company’s Maverick Grabber indeed was a performance and muscle car that was inspired by one of their earlier vehicle models. It was created with the goal of being cost-effective for customers and easy to construct and fabricate on a large scale, which was supposed to translate into a big return on the company’s investment in the car.
Despite its excellent intentions, the automobile was boring and unremarkable in its actual concept. The vehicle was simply a rebadged ten-year-old automobile with some new exterior details.
Pontiac Tempest Coming Into The 70s
The redesigned body appearance of the 2nd wave Pontiac Tempest definitely was intended to entice young drivers to choose the vehicle. The original version of the vehicle was widely praised, yet in an attempt to optimize it, Pontiac completely ruined the second.
Due to poor sales and unfavorable comments, the Tempest had a brief existence in the industry, lasting only two years prior to being phased out and replaced by the more reliable Le Man’s vehicle.
