Angelina Jolie as Queen Olimpias in Alexander
History has regarded Alexander the Great as one of the greatest conquerors of all time, yet they couldn’t do a better job creating the movie Alexander. However, Hollywood has a major problem when it comes to casting older actresses, which is why they thought it would be a great idea to cast Angelina Jolie for the film. At the time, she was twenty-nine, and this, along with their failure to add any aged makeup, making it a complete mess. In addition, her beauty needed to match up to the historian’s life, but because they failed to do this, it made the whole film a disaster and had people asking lots of questions. It was such a bomber that it hit low on the box office and was ranked by Razzie as the worst picture, worst cast, worst screenplay, worst actor and supporting actress, and most intrusive musical score film.
Vince Vaughn as Norman Bates in Psycho
This film also shocked the world when it was finally released as Vinvc Vaughn didn’t fit anywhere! There is no way he could act his way to success in this movie, and being the mother-obsessed killer in “Psycho” made acting even weirder. The remake of the film, Psycho, was really not necessary, and Vaughn didn’t even make an effort to make himself a standout from the original actor, Anthony Perkins. Vaughn sure does well as a wise guy or in a comedy film, but it is not yet, or might never be, in his reach when it comes to drama. We can safely say, movie lovers will never forgive Vince for making a mess of the season two release of True Detective, especially after the first season was such a hit.
