Colin Hanks as Travis Marshall in Dexter
The Dexter Morgan character was just about a sneaky one that tried to have a cover-up for all his secret actions and trying to elude the fact that he was a sociopath who truly knew his ways were wrong. It seems the movie, Dexter, was going great all along until the final episode where they decided to add Colin Hanks as the man for the top job. But, it was a low blow for a final episode of a good movie – he didn’t have what it took to carry the role with the strength we know it for.

Colin Hanks As Travis Marshall In Dexter
Tom Hanks, Colin’s father, seemingly rubbed some of his softness on his son as his character was a little too “good” to be the face of a doomsday killer. This made the whole film receive the negative feedback it did for the season’s sendoff. To be an apocalyptic killer in a film, you need the face of someone who has done a great job in positions like those already. It would have a better effect on viewers.
