Paul Schneider as Mark Brendanawics on Parks and Recreation
Parks and Recreation took on the same style as the movie The Office, and as the years went by, it has become one of the most-loved comedy series and has a myriad of funny characters that movie lovers adore. The odd part of the whole series was Paul Scheider, who got a role that would show him up a lot, and he didn’t fit in too well. Apparently, they had him to be the straight guy who tried to exist in an office that had mostly cads.
Schneider admits that he found that role to be an extraordinary one for him, and every time he looks back, it leaves him wondering what made him accept the role. Schneider later got off set and pursued other projects, and believe it or not, the show gained so much success afterward. That was the only proof they needed to tell them he was the wrong choice for the job.
Ben Affleck as Matt Murdock in Daredevil
Another repeater on this list and yet again, in a position where he was forced to play a role that didn’t match up to his true self. Daredevil by far, is one of the best superheroes ever, and when the movie was released in 2003, it was a hard one to process even for beloved fans. Affleck, once again, had a problem showcasing his skills in being a good superhero, and even though Murdock’s character was blind and there could have been other ways for Affleck to see through his character, it still was a low point.
Ben is known to be a whiny and emotional figure, and being in a position like this, only meant he was forced to play that role. As a Netflix big hit, it could have brought Affleck back to a powerful acting career, but after seeing his performance here…we would recommend him to stay clear of roles like this in the future.
