Kevin Costner as Robin Hood in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Kevin Costner has many great acting roles that he has done great service to, but the way the producers put him in this film – dressed in tights – made it a bad choice for the famed actor. After his performance in “Dances With Wolves,” which earned him numerous awards, it was rather difficult to accept Costner as a non-English, long-haired figure easily. This film’s act seemed to be a combination of his character as Elliot Ness from “The Untouchables” and Crash Davis from “Bull Durham.” However, to make a point – he was just trying to act in these films.
