Generally, there is a wait time of 24 hours before one can file a missing person report. However, where Kaydon was concerned, they didn’t wait as seeing the community is close-knit, they had to get on it right away.

The environment is usually on the cooler side, and being out at night can be a little bit cold. This caused a lot of worry and concern for the Leach’s as their son was thin and didn’t have much flesh or a coat to help keep him warm.
