Missing boy Located 22 Hours Later – But He Wasn’t Alone

Kaydon was found around 3:30 pm the following day after being missing for 22 hours. When the boy was found, there was a sound…the growling animal. It turned out he was in the company of his pet – Chula.

Jeff FRench, BCSO’s Chief Deputy, said Chula growled at the rescuers when they came close to Kaydon. She was only trying to protect him. Chula had worked overtime in protecting Kaydon throughout the entire night.
