Without even realizing it, the day had run away from Mike, and darkness was starting to fall upon him. He wished that he didn’t have to stop, but he hadn’t anticipated being out so late, so he didn’t pack a flashlight before he left home that morning. It seemed that this was a mystery that would take more than one day to solve.

A Restless Night
Feeling tired from a long day of digging, Mike left for home wondering what he was going to discover the next day. Slightly deflated by not getting the answers he wanted after a long day at the site, he tried to give his mind some rest by going to bed early. He also wanted to be up early to go back and continue the dig as soon as it was possible to do so.
