He Fell And Ran For Cover
The shout startled James so badly that his hands slipped from the iron bars. The branch shifted beneath his feet, and he lost his balance. He fell backward and landed hard on the damp forest floor. Pain shot through his shoulder, but fear pushed him back onto his feet almost immediately.

From inside the building, the quiet hum turned into panic. James heard banging, footsteps, and the sound of things being moved in a hurry. Whoever was inside had clearly not expected to be discovered. James did not wait to find out what would happen next. He limped into the trees and kept moving until he was far enough away to hide behind a large oak. From there, he still had a view of the building. With shaking hands, he pulled out his phone and called emergency services.
