James Took A Risk To Look Inside
The rain from earlier that morning had made the forest floor soft and slippery. James looked around for something safe to climb, but the fallen branches nearby were too old and weak to hold him. Eventually, he found a thick branch strong enough to use as a makeshift support. He dragged it to the wall, pushed one end into the mud, and leaned the other end against the stone.

It was not a safe setup, and James knew it. The branch creaked beneath him as he climbed, and his wet boots slipped against the bark. Still, curiosity kept him moving upward. When he finally reached the top, he grabbed the iron bars with both hands and pulled himself close enough to peer through the opening. He expected darkness, dust, or maybe an unfinished room. Instead, what he saw inside made him freeze.
