Wonders And Wildlife
The Chaga are just a small portion of this wonderful park’s residents, also being a place brimming with wildlife, such as leopards and elephants. There is also the furtive hyrax, which exists on the grand mountain’s slopes. This is a nocturnal mammal which possesses a fluffy coat and, if you can believe it, is related to the elephant! Then there are white and western black colobuses, blue monkeys, and Cape Buffaloes who have all claimed the Kilimanjaro National Park as their homes.

Triple Peaks
Mount Kilimanjaro is not a single-peaked mountain, but in fact consists of three, which were at one stage all active volcanoes. This triple peak chain is made up of Kibo, (16,893 feet above sea level), Mawenzi (16,893 feet above sea level), and Shira, (13,140 feet above sea level). Out of all these peaks, Kibo is the only one which may one day become active once more!
