We now fast-forward to a more modern songwriter, Max Martin. The Sweden-born Martin would go on to become one of the most essential members of the pop music industry. He wrote music for The Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and Britney Spears and provided them all with some of their greatest hits. Martin would make it into the Billboard Charts with 22 top placing albums. More recently, he wrote music for Weeknd, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, and Taylor Swift.
